About Me

Experience and Passions

I a Systems Design Engineering student at the University of Waterloo with a growing focus on data analytics, machine learning, and sports analytics. I enjoy building tools that transform raw data into clear, actionable insight and care about details looking and working well.

My work and projects has given me experience in business intelligence (Power BI, SQL, DAX) and data science (Python, R, Shiny), with a particular interest in applying these skills to sports performance and strategy.

Outside of data work, sport is a big part of how I spend my time and think — I'm passionate about basketball, volleyball, and football (soccer), which combined with my wealth of travelling experience naturally informs my analytical lens.

Co-authored submission to the NFL Big Data Bowl 2026. A two-stage model combining XGBoost and an LSTM over 50 frames of spatial-temporal tracking data to isolate wide receiver skill from noise, paired with a Gaussian Spatial Influence model for frame-by-frame field ownership.
